Planetree Advisers will be part of a passionate team that will drive and support the expansion of person-centered approaches to healthcare in organizations worldwide. Advisers will collaborate with other teammates to support the successful delivery of service in the field. The ideal candidate will be responsible for guiding, motivating, and supporting the person-centered journey of an array of healthcare organizations across the continuum of care.

Position Description:

  • Advance relationships with assigned clients and ensure they are active partners
  • Act as a confidant and adviser to senior leaders at healthcare organizations
  • Operationally manage the implementation of the Planetree approach at assigned clients
  • Coach and support staff at healthcare organizations with the implementation of person-centered This includes, but is not limited to, public speaking, workshop facilitation, immersive shadowing with leaders and staff.
  • Offer meaningful contribution to the field of person-centered care by getting involved in policy, advocacy and professional organizations.
  • Continuously evolve and improve Planetree tools to stay ahead of changes in healthcare.
  • Assist in the development of new service lines and that will advance Planetree and its clients.
  • 40-50% travel, including international settings in Europe, Latin America, Asia and the Middle East.

Preferred Experience:

  • A proven track record of project management that supports rapid change and meaningful outcomes.
  • Experience, comfort, and success with speaking to diverse audiences- from boardroom to bedside.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relationship management experience, managing and guiding the performance of multiple sites in different locations (in any industry).
  • Critical thinking skills. Ability and experience consolidating large data sets into distilled themes and recommendations; demonstrates relationships between qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Experience working in a healthcare setting in clinical or non-clinical roles.
  • Advanced communication skills- both written and verbal.
  • Experience applying performance improvement science methodologies.

Skills Required:

Technology: Proficient in Excel (entry and management of data); Comfortable building professional presentations in PowerPoint; Adept at editing and formatting reports in Word; Competent entering and tracking information in SalesForce or other CRM.

Interpersonal: Skilled at developing relationships over the phone; Capable of collecting information remotely; Comfortable working without all of the facts; Student- always looking to learn and grow; Can give and receive constructive feedback; Team oriented- interested in helping the team win over personal advancement.

Coordination: Enjoys building work structures that will function into the future ;_ Flexible, friendly, self-aware- welcomes others into a process; Time management- ability to prioritize and juggle multiple projects and deadlines _; Comfortable doing more with less ; Organized and proactive- always looking 2 steps ahead.

Minimum - BA/BS required, healthcare experience preferred.
